Conversion of Offices to Residential: Permitted Development Rights a Year On

Expand Navigation

A year on from Permitted Development Rights (PDR) becoming permanent, the BCO has commissioned a new study to establish the impact on the office market and the extent to which the regime is contributing to the conversion of offices to residential.

Start Date / Time 12 Sep 2017 17:00
End Date / Time 12 Sep 2017 19:30
Venue CBRE, Henrietta House, Henrietta Place, London, W1G ONB
Category BCO Research & Policy
National No
Region London and the South East
Type Seminar
Available to Non Members No

The research conducted by CBRE builds on the earlier study prepared in early 2015. With more data now available, the analysis draws on case studies and data from DCLG, VOA and the property industry to establish and the effect of the rights and to quantify conversion rates both in London and nationally. Furthermore, it examines the impact of PDR on service office operators, whether or not small businesses (SMEs) have been disproportionately affected; how devolved government will accommodate PDR and the likely regional differentiation in policy and results. Join us for an enlightening evening and to enjoy drinks and networking with your fellow BCO members and industry peers.
