New Research Project – Effective Service Delivery

The BCO’s Occupier Group is about to commission new research into building performance in the office sector. For an occupier, building performance is defined as the way that the building supports the occupier’s aims and needs. The project will primarily focus on the responsiveness of agents and landlords to occupiers needs, particularly in multi-occupied buildings.

Trendsetting TMT companies blaze a trail for workplace design

Today, the British Council for Office’s (BCO) releases new research which assesses the impact of the TMT sector (Technology, Media, Telecoms) on the commercial property industry. One of the reports key findings is that there is no single TMT sector – in reality it is better understood as five sub-sectors (Advertising and Creative, Traditional Media, New Technology, Technology and Telecoms) with varying traits according to the stage the company is at in its lifecycle.

BCO Conference 2014: Happiness is top of the agenda for the closing session

Chicago revealed as the destination for BCO’s 2015 Conference At the final session of the BCO Annual Conference 2014, delegates were challenged to think about how to put the happiness and wellbeing of employees at the heart of offices.
